Single-Family

2024 Single-Family Overview

The Single-Family programs offered by the West Virginia Housing Development Fund provide affordable homeownership opportunities to individuals and families across the state. Through low-interest mortgage loans and down payment assistance, we help West Virginians achieve the dream of owning a home.

Our programs are designed to make homeownership more accessible, offering competitive interest rates and support for first-time buyers, and those with moderate incomes. By providing financial solutions and guidance, we empower families to build stability, invest in their futures, and strengthen communities throughout West Virginia.

In 2024, we provided more than $288 million in loans through our Single-Family programs to West Virginians.
