Affordable Housing: The Heart of Our Mission

The West Virginia Housing Development Fund is a state housing finance agency dedicated to increasing access to safe, affordable housing for individuals and families across the Mountain State. Since our founding in 1968, we have worked to provide innovative homeownership programs, rental housing solutions, and funding opportunities that support community development. Through partnerships with lenders, developers, and other agencies, we help West Virginians achieve the dream of homeownership and ensure the availability of quality rental housing options. Committed to strengthening communities, we continue to invest in housing initiatives that foster stability, economic growth, and a brighter future for West Virginia residents.
