On-Site Systems Loan Program
The On-Site Systems Loan Program is a partnership between the West Virginia Housing Development Fund and the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, designed to help eligible homeowners repair or replace on-site septic systems or connect to a public treatment system.
the program is limited to owner-occupied residences or long-term lessee.
borrower must provide a deed or lease agreement, property tax receipt, a Certificate of Qualification from the county sanitarian and permits, a letter of non-service from the public service district or municipality, and a bid from a certified septic tank installer
borrowers may qualify for up to $10,000, repaid over 10 years at 2% interest.
there is no application fee
after closing, borrowers will receive a payment book in the mail. All payments will come to the Fund.
