What's New

The West Virginia Housing Development Fund will offer “New Lender Training” on Monday, September 22, 2014 at the Flatwoods Conference Center (Days Hotel) 350 Days Drive, Sutton, WV 26601. For those who require an overnight stay, a block of rooms have been reserved for the West Virginia Housing Development Fund. The rate will be $107.99 per room.  The number for the Days Inn Hotel is 866-700-7284.  Correspondent Lenders are welcome to attend the complete training but may leave when the Closing portion begins as the Housing Development Fund performs this function for you.


The training is for new lenders or lenders unfamiliar with our programs and the Federal Compliance issues on our loans. 


The training will be held from 9:00 AM to approximately 3:30 PM.  The training is for new lenders and/or new employees including originators, processors, underwriters, and closers.


This training will fulfill the “new lender requirement” to be a Participating Lender. There is NO cost for this training but ALL attendees must register by September 18, 2014. Lunch will be provided.  Please register each participant individually.

Update - We have made changes to our Movin' Up Program. Highlights include:

Income limits have been increased and are the same for each county:

  • $113,760 for a 1-2 person household.
  • $132,720 for 3+ person household.
