Seasoned Home Buyers

If you already own a home and are interested in refinancing, please click on our Secondary Market page for more information.

A new program we have developed, The Movin’ Up Program, has been designed to help all moderate-income homebuyers purchase a new residence. Unlike our more commonly known homebuyer programs, Movin’ Up does not have a first-time homebuyer requirement and is geared toward home buyers who might have outgrown their current residence or just want to make a change.

If you are a previous homeowner, but have not owned a home in the last five years, you may qualify for a loan through our Homeownership Program, please click on Getting Started to find out more.

The West Virginia Housing Development Fund is the state's affordable mortgage finance agency.

The WVHDF was established to develop and improve the state's housing opportunities for residents.
