The Mini-Mod Rehabilitation Program provides landlords affordable financing to renovate existing apartment units. The term of these loans may be up to ten years, up to $20,000 per unit, with an interest rate of 6%, which is subject to change. Loans are restricted to the actual cost of renovations. Loans are secured by a lien on the property and can be subject to a prior first lien to the current lender. Under this program, there are no tenant income or rent restrictions.
